AT&T This company is Out of Business, well okay maybe not, but I can't get them to install my !@#$% ISDN line.  AT&T made a line of modems once upon a time, now they do not, Download drivers here. AT&T also made NIC's at one time, still got one? then head over the NCR support.

Chieftain Scanners Chieftain Scanners did not actually make their line of scanners, they just rebadged them and sold them under their name.  So grab the FCC number off the back and head over to the FCC search to find out who did make your scanner.

Cirrus Logic Modems "In 1998 Cirrus Logic made a strategic decision to refocus on audio, mass storage and precision semiconductor businesses. As a result they spun-off their profitable PC Modem Business Unit. Employees purchased this division from Cirrus Logic in January of 1999 in a transaction involving cash and stock and formed Ambient Technologies Incorporated. Hayes "Zoom Telephonics purchased worldwide product and trademark rights for all Hayes analog modems except the EZ-Jack PCMCIA card. Zoom began shipping Hayes modems in the USA on June 11, 1999. Zoom offers free technical support as detailed in your modem package for Hayes modems produced by Zoom."

Info Peripherals Sold a line of scanner products now OOB, yes we have the drivers. Mountain Network Solutions This company was aquired by NCE Storage Systems. And NCE sold the TBU technology to McAfee in 1995. I have a link to a company that continues to support some of the old Mountain TBUs.

Along with all this change all support for these modems went bu-bye, don't even bother contacting them they will just refer you elsewhere. But once again I was able to acquired drivers for most of their modems.
