If all you think networking is a tough job,
one that is best left to the nerds, I’m pleased to be able to inform you that you are
wrong. Networking is actually a very simple concept, and with today’s Plug N Play
Technology (although it sometimes turns into Plug N Pray), with Windows 9X, Networking is
actually a cinch. This article will attempt to put your fears of networking at rest and
will show you how to set up your very own network. I’ll try to avoid the use of
technical and nerdy jargon as much as possible, and try to simplify the concept for you.
If you are a home user with more than one computer, or have a Small Office Home Office
setup, with several computers, then you should definitely consider setting up a local
network (LAN) or peer-to-peer network. |
